Betty Cook

Docent Council President, has been a president since 2007. After retiring from the banking world, Betty pursued her two passions, Arizona history and genealogy. She joined the AZ State Genealogical Society and the Docent Council. Betty is active organizing fundraisers, leading tours

Jane Berson

Docent Council Vice President, has lived in Tucson for 23 years. Jane is a retired senior high school teacher of English/ French/Spanish. Jane became a docent in 1996 and is active leading tours, presenting History-To-Go suitcases, and helping at special events.

Lee Copley

Docent Council Treasurer, began researching Arizona history after moving to the state. Lee has been a Docent since 2001 and has served as treasurer for several years. She also volunteers at the Tucson Rodeo Museum each year. Lee enjoys hiking and gardening.

Mari Martin

Docent Council Secretary, is a 4th generation Arizonan. Mari attended the University of Arizona earning two graduate degrees. She was a counselor for the Department of Corrections. Mari has been a docent since 2000 and is a presenter for the Speaker’s Bureau
